Annie Mist Thorisdottir, from Reykjavik Iceland is a CrossFit athlete. She co-owns Crossfit Reykjavik where she also is a coach and trainer. Annie became the very first female ever to be crowned winner of CrossFit Games on two occasions. She was second at the CrossFit Games in 2010 and in 2014. Annie Thorisdottir, an Icelandic weightlifter, is also an avid CrossFit athlete as well as a popular journalist. Her fame stems from her being the first woman to win the CrossFit Games twice in 2011 and 2012. The winner at The Dubai Fitness Competition 2013 and 2017Annie has gained a lot of attention. Annie was raised in Reykjavik, Iceland together with her parents and siblings. Being a sports and exercising enthusiast since an early age, she took part in various school games and won several medals. In 2009, Annie Thorisdottir took part in the CrossFit event in California. Annie Thorisdottir is 31 years of age (as at 2021). She is 5'7 tall and she weighs about 67 kgs. Annie began CrossFit in California in 2009. She was able to perform quite well through the first couple of competitions. Annie was ranked among the top 10 out of more than 70. While she did not take home any titles She finished in the 11th spot. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. With the guidance of Jami Tikkanen. Annie came in 2nd at the CrossFit Games and was awarded an award of Silver that year. In the following year, she participated again in CrossFit Games and won them thanks to her outstanding performances. She was the first woman to ever take home a gold medal in CrossFit Games. Annie was a winner, having an outstanding 2012. CrossFit Games performance, became the first female to win the two CrossFit Games. Additionally, in 2014 Annie won a Silver Medal and, most recently in 2021 she took home a Bronze Medal in the CrossFit Games. Annie is currently a coach and trainer at Crossfit Reykjavik. This gym was founded by Annie. Annie has become a famous athlete when she gained fame.
